Of all the characters, including the dlc characters, she really feels the weakest. Dog just seems to do her job better when it comes to full auto builds and the rest of her kit doesn't seem to scale that amazingly. Of all my characters, she has the absolute lowest damage.

Questions about Lei Luo R8 build paths. Hi, so I'm a noob to the game and have cleared up to R4 with friends. I put R8 on the title to try and get advice that is future-proof/meta as I continue to clear harder difficulties. So far for Lei Luo I've seen 3-ish build types (please correct me): high damage sniper, woodpecker spam with chain ...I'm pretty sure there's nothing in the cats passives to make any weapons more preferable. Dog - explosives and big guns, the other cat - "sniper" class weapons, bird - shotguns (but only "technically" really because they are close range weapons). Cat has nothing for guns which is not a bad thing at all whatsoever.I saw that the inscription does spore damage based on total damage between the two which means you should upgrade argus because it has higher damage base AND scaling therefore increasing quicker. The vast majority of Tao builds rely on fast firing weapons or weapons that can hit enemies multiple times. The reason why you want fast firing weapons is because it will help generate Swords for your primary skill. Fatal Bloom needs weapons that can hit multiple times for additional damage trigger (after 12 hits).

I haven't really found anything that would work well in anything > nightmare. For example, here are a few things I noticed that work (but have massive cons); Close range build using shotguns/rockets. Low rpm weapons running secondary spam skill build with 5 free shots on kill/essence chain.

The problem with the monkey gun build is that adding a few levels to your weapon isn't that big, especially not as a temporary buff that you have to stop to apply.
