I had my oil/oil filter, air filter, and VTM-4 oil changed. The RL also sputters when slowing down to stop and when stopped but does not stall.FYI, VTM-4 light was there instantly upon each start; but CEL would go out right after start, and then come back on in about 1/2 minute. When you put the shifter in 1 or 2 gear, you can push the VTM-4 button on dash and you will engage the 4 wheel drive constently. If you switch out of 1st or 2nd gear it will disengage automatically. The VTM-4 also works in reverse gear. Hope this helps.

Same symptom here. P0325 trouble code and within a minute or two the VTM-4 light comes on. I replaced the knock sensor yesterday and sure enough the wires from it's connector was chewed. I was glad to see a clear indication of the problem. I put in an OEM sensor (maybe a mistake), ran a new wire then cleared the code.

May as well clean the EGR ports and passages while you're at it and change the PCV valve.
