I have the same Makita router, although I have the older Modulus HD jig (bought it well before the 5D came out). I've done quite a few lowers, one poly, a couple of forged and the rest billet. Other than not having a built in light, I can't really fault the Makita and it is is usually $20-$30 less than the DeWalt.

I just wish the router plate was shaped to also mill the rear lug area. Maybe im missing something but i tried to configure it to accommodate the rear lug to no avail.
